Unicoi County Memorial Hospital's Chad Capps honored by ETSU

ERWIN, Tenn. – Chad Capps, director of physical therapy at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital, was recently honored by his alma mater, East Tennessee State University. Capps was inducted into the ETSU College of Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences Alumni Hall of Fame.

 

 “Chad does an excellent job for our hospital,” said Eric Carroll, administrator at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital. “He is dedicated not only to our hospital but to providing excellent service for the community. This honor is well deserved.”

 

Capps received his bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from ETSU in 1998. Prior to his role as director of physical therapy at UCMH, Chad was the owner and director of Associated Therapy Services at Unicoi County LLC from 2002 until 2013. For the last 18 years, he has served as a clinical site instructor for ETSU physical therapy students and currently serves on the College of Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences Philanthropy Board.
