Our Niswonger Children's Hospital Radiothon is in full swing, and it's not too late to give!
The 2017 Niswonger Children’s Hospital Radiothon is going strong this afternoon, wrapping up at 7 p.m., and we’re trying to meet our goal of $270,000. It’s not too late to give – even if it’s a small donation! Everything helps, and the donations benefit all kinds of needs at the region’s only children’s hospital. As of mid-afternoon, we were at more than $153,000.
See photos from today's radiothon in the lobby of Niswonger Children's Hospital.
We’ve got volunteers, including Mountain States team members, making and taking calls for donations from the lobby of Niswonger Children’s Hospital as we push toward our goal, and we’ve also had team member volunteers today at Indian Path Medical Center and Johnston Memorial Hospital taking pledges. Holston Valley Broadcasting Corporation is broadcasting live on the radio from the Niswonger lobby on four stations (98.5 WTFM, 95.9 The Hog WRZK, Classic Hits 102.7 WVEK, and ESPN Tri-Cities) until 7 p.m.
If you want to make a donation, visit our radiothon site at www.NiswongerChildrensRadiothon.com or call 855-611-KIDS (5437). Or you can text FORHOPE to 243725 to make a donation.
You can also help out by eating out! We have seven restaurants participating in “Dine Out for Kids” today (Tuesday, Feb. 28). A portion of their sales today will benefit the radiothon. Participating restaurants are:
- Bob Evans on Boones Creek Road in Johnson City
- Bonefish Grill in Johnson City
- Cootie Brown’s in Johnson City and in Bristol
- Cranberries in Johnson City
- East Coast Wings & Grill in Johnson City and Kingsport
- Mona Lisa’s Gelato & Café in Johnson City
- Open Doors Coffeehouse in Johnson City
- Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar in Johnson City
Thanks for anything you can do to help us meet our goal in supporting Niswonger Children’s Hospital!
