Guitars & Good Times event benefits local schools through the Russell County Medical Center Foundation

LEBANON, Va. – Get ready for “good times” for a great cause at the eighth annual Guitars & Good Times event.

Hosted by the Russell County Medical Center Foundation, Guitars & Good Times will be an evening filled with food, drinks, music, casino games, prizes and a live auction.

This year’s event will benefit local schools through the Russell County Medical Center Foundation. The foundation has partnered with Russell County Public Schools to fund health and wellness programs for local youth. The school system plans to replace their existing playground structures at several county schools with state-of-the-art, inclusive play environments that address the needs of the whole child and of every child, and funds raised from Guitars & Good Times will go toward that project.

Guitars & Good Times will be on Friday, June 2, at 6:30 p.m. at The Leonard Company Operations Center in Lebanon. The event will feature dinner from JAE’s Smoke Shack, casino games and prizes, and music.

There will also be a live auction by Adam Wilson Auctioneers that gives guests an opportunity to bid on items like a pair of tickets to the August night race at Bristol Motor Speedway, golf packages at The Virginian Golf Club and Glenrochie Country Club golf courses, autographed sports memorabilia, outdoor adventure packages and more.

Tickets are $35 per person or two for $60 and include dinner and entertainment.

You can purchase tickets at both locations of First Bank & Trust Company in Lebanon, VA, and the administration department at Russell County Medical Center.
